Welcome to the Wemyss Coastal Trail. This route will take us from here in East Wemyss along the coast onto West Wemyss. This is a linear route, with a small bus services able to bring you back again.
Welcome to East Wemyss, a charming village located on the southern coast of Fife, Scotland, overlooking the Firth of Forth. This village is steeped in history, with its roots dating back to ancient times.
The village was an important coal mining hub, contributing to the local economy and providing employment for many residents. The coal from this region was of high quality and was shipped across Scotland and exported internationally.
