This trail will take you from Leven town centre and railway station along to the Largo Villages. Designed for walkers and cyclists, this route will take about ninety minutes.
The quickest way from Leven to Largo is to simply follow the beach! However, at high tide, or with more water in the streams, this can lead to wet feet. Our route is all weather, all tide, though good shoes are advised as we’ll be on gravel for much of the journey.
For those who use wheelchairs, this route is not advised. However there is a regular bus service to take you to both Lundin Links and Lower Largo. Or you may follow the main road which has a pavement for the full duration.
Lower Largo has a wheelchair (and mobility scooter) accessible discovery trail which you’ll be able to take part in.
This trail starts from Leven, either from the railway station, the bus station or the Leven Swimming Pool, all within a stone’s throw of each other. We’ll be working our way to the promenade by the beach.
