Point 2

With the Simpson Institute behind you, turn left and follow the road, crossing when it’s safe.

We’re travelling towards the most eastern point of the village.

These were a row of cottages built to accommodate Itinerant farmworkers around 1890. Each had a vegetable garden area and access to a pigsty at the rear. They have lovely views of Largo Bay behind them.

We’ll now retrace our steps back into town staying on the left hand side of the road. Look out for the pink bungalows on the left-hand side.
