Continue down the path and through the gate past the allotments. These are small plots of land that people can rent to grow their own food. What varieties can you see?

Follow the path into the car park of Silverburn Park.

Welcome to Silverburn Park!

Once home to the Russell family, the Park was gifted to the town council in 1973 and is now a place of quiet relaxation for the whole community to enjoy.

The former flax processing mill is undergoing a multi-million pound renovation to transform it into a café, hostel rooms and events space opening in 2026.
