Point 1

This is the start of our journey, Leven Bus Station. Leven high street is close by – we will come back here at the end of our journey. For now, we will head down to the promenade where we will be following the Fife Coastal Path along the water’s edge.

You can probably see the sea from where you’re standing; head this direction, towards the leisure centre, over the pelican crossing, then turning left.

Head to the promenade, the path running next to the sea wall. Follow this past the first car park. When you reach the sign at the end of the car park, that’s our next check point! Tap the arrow above to move on.

Leven Leisure Centre
On the way, we will pass by Leven Leisure Centre - offering a range of activities for all ages, Leven pool is a great place, especially when the weather isn't so kind!

Leven Station
Opened in June 2024, Leven station is one of the most recent major additions to Levenmouth. Trains ran to Leven for decades until the service fell victim to the Beeching cuts of the 1960s and the line was shut down. Following a community campaign, the Scottish Government approved the reopening of the railway and work began. Today, trains run hourly direct to Edinburgh Waverley following the Fife Coast and over the stunning Forth Bridge.
