Continuing past the play park, you will find Letham Glen’s craft centre – home to Home Start – a charity supporting young families during challenging times. To the right of the craft centre, you will find a former wishing well. This was built thanks to a donation from Leven Inner Wheel Club in 1970. The well had the inscription “If in here your siller cast, a wish may well come true at last”. Proceeds from the well were given to local charities. Ahead of the wishing wheel, you’ll find the Doocot next to the bridge – it is now home to pipistrelle bats. If you’re here around dusk you might see them flying to-and-fro through the trees.
Keep to the main path on this side of the burn as you head on up the Glen. You’ll be coming back on the other side.
